Masks are made of a tight weave, 100% cotton cloth with cotton elastic/rubber ties that are tied by the user to suit their own fit. 100% cotton cloth ties are an option.
The filter is made of the same cloth, with coconut shell charcoal filling. The tight weave fabric keeps charcoal dust to a minimum. Heavy duty filters are 1/2" thick. Lighter weight filters are 1/4" thick.
The regular size mask measures 5 1/2" (nose to chin) by 7" (side to side). Normally tied behind the head, it can also be tied around the ears, with special knots.
